Accessible here is a ‘Digest’ of Ohio laws that regard bicycling, taken from the Ohio Revised Code. This was developed by the Ohio Bicycle Federation and made available here with their permission. As you will see, some of the text is taken directly from the law while some text is a comment on interpreting the law.
Anyone riding Ohio’s roads are expected to follow these laws, regardless of age. Parents are encouraged to introduce these laws to children as they progress from sidewalk riding to riding on the street.
