We’re looking for volunteers. If you have some spare time and an interest in learning how to work on bikes, please consider joining us. We will train you on bike mechanics and only ask that you work one shift per week. We have a great team and it’s a rewarding experience.

The Elyria Bicycle Education Center was formed in June of 2017 and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We accept donated bicycles and we do the work to get them roadworthy – safe and mechanically sound. We sell them back to the community for a reasonable price. Most of our bikes are sold for between $70 and $100.
We are always looking for new volunteers interested in joining us. We do the training and only ask that you commit to working one shift per week. Call or come by the shop for details.
